In this fourth installment of The Blueprint of Becoming, we dive deep into the life-changing power of intimacy with Christ. This isn’t just about knowing about God—it’s about being known by Him.
Tune in as we explore the transformational nature of true intimacy with Christ. Beyond surface-level faith, this conversation challenges you to examine whether you are walking in real friendship with God—or simply knowing about Him from a distance. We unpack the difference between head knowledge and heart transformation, the weight of obedience in cultivating closeness with God, and how reverence and trust form the foundation of spiritual intimacy.
You’ll hear reflections on the sobering realization that not everyone is a friend of God—and the grace that invites us into deeper communion with Him. Whether you’ve been walking with God for years or you’re just beginning to seek Him for yourself, this episode invites you to go deeper—to know and be known by the only One who truly matters.

In this special episode of Eat Don’t Compete, I’m joined by the one and only Patricia Gaskins for a natural and genuine conversation about our identities in Christ and the beautiful, sometimes messy journeys of becoming. How many of us can admit we’re still on that journey? 🙋🏾♀️
From laughter to tears, we open up about how God's love has transformed us — how we’re no longer who we once were. We have fun and dive deep as we answer three key questions:
What are some contributing factors that help you identify who you are today?
Concerning identity, what would you say to your 15-year-old self?
Who are you [without mentioning the roles you play in life]?
I open this episode with one of my favorite quotes by Ralph Waldo Emerson:"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."
We also discuss God’s purpose for our lives, reflect on the promise of Jeremiah 29:11, and stand firmly on the truth of Ephesians 1:5-9.
This conversation is as natural and unfiltered as it gets — the kind that would have happened whether the camera was rolling or not. It’s faith-filled, heartfelt, and packed with the kind of spiritual encouragement your soul needs right now.
Topics We Dive Into:
Identity in Christ
Faith vs. Feelings (again 🤷🏾♀️)
The foundation of who God created you to be
God as the architect of your true identity
Biblical truth for discovering your identity
Honest reflections on who we were — and who we’re becoming in Christ
Stay until the end for a little "soul food" — you don’t want to miss it.

In this second installment of our Spiritual Architecture series, we’re diving into a powerful truth: salvation isn’t the end goal—it’s just the beginning. Too often we treat the moment of salvation as a finish line, when in reality, it’s one of the first bricks in the foundation God lays for a life of deep transformation, intimacy, and Kingdom purpose.
Throughout this series we will cover:
Spiritual Architecture
Salvation
Identity
Intimacy
Repentance
Discipleship
Truth
Sanctification
My story/My testimony
In this episode, I’m sharing my own reflections on what I believe it means to walk out our souls salvation continuously, in response to Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins. I reflect on foundational [biblical truths] and some fundamentals of salvation.
We reflect on the impact of God's love mentioned in John 3:16.
It’s my prayer that you expand on this list and add to it. Comment below and let me know of some fundamentals of the way you live out your salvation?
Reflection Question:Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior?
Challenge:How have you taken your salvation for granted?
This week, take time to sit with that question in prayer. Ask God to show you where He wants to take you deeper, and recommit to growing beyond the basics of your faith.
